Gerard J. Curley
Chairman

Gerard J. Curley (above), Chairman. Mr. Curley, with others, founded 1st Central Bank and has served on the Boards of banks and bank holding companies over the past 39 years. He also served as President and CEO of a large, statewide construction company. He founded Investors Services, Inc., a real estate development and brokerage firm. In 1995, Mr. Curley founded a factoring firm, of which United Capital funding Corp. is the successor.

Mr. Curley has worked extensively for the federal government as an appraiser and loan consultant. He is a qualified expert witness in Federal, State and County Courts in matters relating to real estate and financing.

He graduated with honors from Washington University with a BS/BA degree. Active in civic and cultural affairs, Mr. Curley has served as President of many local and national organizations.

Chris S. Youmans
President and CEO

Chris S. Youmans (above), President and CEO, Prior to joining United Capital Funding Corp. in 2000, Mr. Youmans spent 12 years in the Investment Banking industry, specializing in the Public Finance sector. Areas of focus included small manufacturing companies and health care organizations. He also served on the firms Credit Review Committee. Mr. Youmans is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida, and passed the Series & General Securities Examination. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida.

Mark Mandula, CMO

Mark S. Mandula (above), CMO. Mr. Mandula has extensive experience in the Credit, Investment Banking and Financial Services Industries. Mr. Mandula has served as CEO of several specialized financial services organizations. At United Capital Funding Corp., Mr. Mandula is responsible for the marketing initiatives for the firm. Mr. Mandula has a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance Specialization) from the University of Toledo.

Mark Rasmus
Shareholder

Ivan T. Baker (above), CFO. Prior to forming United Capital Funding Corp. with Mr. Curley in 1997, Mr. Baker served in the Financial Services industry as Controller of a Florida based Factoring firm. Areas of responsibility included the Accounting function, Financial Analysis, Information Technology and Credit Analysis. Mr. Baker’s academic accomplishments include a Bachelor of Science form Auburn University and a Masters in Business Administration for the University of South Florida. Mr. Baker is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida.

Mark Rasmus, Shareholder (above right). Mr. Rasmus is President of Heatherwood Homes, Inc. He is also actively involved in the construction and development industries. Mr. Rasmus is a general contractor, licensed in the states of Colorado, Florida and South Carolina, and is also a real estate broker in Georgia and Colorado.

G. Kurtis Ulrich, CFA (Auburn University, 1983) has worked in the investment industry since 1983 spending the majority of his career as a portfolio manager for the investment advisory firm of Pritchard, Hubble & Herr, Inc. After leaving that firm in 2001 he’s helped found several start-up ventures and recently joined Anderson, Riley & Spoor, PA, a registered investment advisor, as their Chief Investment Officer.

Bob Ulrich, (Duke University, Stetson University College of Law) He has practiced law since graduating from Stetson with the exception of the two terms he served as Mayor of the City of St. Petersburg. Mr. Ulrich was a 27 year partner with the law firm of Harris, Mann & Dew, joining briefly the firm of Baynard, Harrel, Ostow & Ulrich, and later became “Of Council” to Carlton Fields, Florida’s second largest firm until 1996.
